To help get you started, here's a list of fine selections in various price ranges.
$25 or less
You don't have to spend much to give great gifts. Energy bars, drink mixes and gels please every pedaler. Ditto for new bicycling socks; a super stocking-stuffer, too. Does your biker commute at all hours? We have lots of lights to keep them safe and seen. And be sure to check out essentials, such as seat bags, bottles and cages, replacement tubes, tools, and kits, too. Or maybe they'd like to catch up on their cycling reading with a fun book?
Holiday Hint: Your gift doesn't have to be something that will be used right away. Gifts that will help during racing season or the big tour are always well received and help build excitement for the coming season. If you're not sure, just ask us for suggestions!
$25 to $75
As long as you know their clothing size, there are plenty of perfect picks in this price range in our excellent cycling apparel department. Jerseys; jackets; vests; warmers; gloves; and even protective wear, like elbow pads will delight them with the latest styles, colors and features. Electronics are super popular and fun, too. Consider a cutting-edge cyclo-computer, a powerful headlight or basic heart-rate monitor. Another favorite gift is a cycling pack and we've got a wide variety of types from under-seat models to backpacks and messenger bags.
Holiday Hint: If you'd rather let them select their own gift, purchase a gift certificate and wrap it up inside a nice box!
$75 to $150
There are plenty of fine choices in this price range. For example, a new pair of tires can instantly and significantly improve the ride of any bicycle. And if your cyclist rides frequently, they're sure to appreciate having a new set at the ready. Clothing for cold-weather rides also falls in this category, like a nice, warm pair of tights, or a new pair of cycling shorts for miles of comfort. And don’t forget to check and see if your cyclist could use a new pair of shoes or a new helmet (keep in mind that helmets should be replaced about every 5 years for safety). Another fine choice is a new seat, especially if you've heard the cyclist in your family wishing for one with more comfort features. Other sweet gifts include bags, hydration packs, certain lighting sets, clipless pedals and more.
Holiday Hint: Want to keep someone's beautiful new bicycle a surprise? No problem. We have plenty of storage space and we're happy to hold onto it until you're ready to bring it home!
